The embedded video below is an excerpt from last night’s rehearsal of Aaron Tsang’s “Underheaven”. You need to come hear this live next Saturday. (SneakPeekOrchestra.com)

September: Progress Update
In My Work, Reflections on September 2, 2009 at 11:37 amThe last month was monopolized by the drive to finish a co-authored class paper on community informatics (which has publishing potential as soon as I have some time away from it to do more editing), and keeping up with the break neck pace of properly hosting a ‘young’visitor. You will notice that both of these things require after-work time, and some how, we’ve managed to survive, and September has some how arrived. Now that the school year is starting, I hope posting will become more regular again.
Having been assigned the role of orchestra librarian for the Sneak Peek Orchestra, my work has quickly begun with the ordering and preparation of parts in anticipation of a late-November concert. I’m quite new to this so there’s a bit of a learning curve, yet I find myself quite energized by the work, and look forward to the challenges that rehearsals will bring. I am also looking forward to the new member’s reception at the Heliconian Club, meet the members of the various sections, and get my first glimpse into life at the club. This is just the tip of the ice berg.
