After all that rant on information literacy, I am not taking that course after all. Instead, I’m taking a course on visual thinking, and another one on community informatics. However, I am also trying to figure out whether the new curriculum and new regulations (I heard a rumour that thesis work could be worth 6 credits instead of just 4) will impact my plans. Amidst all the administrative flux, I’m anxious to nail down my academic path, but I am sure that everything will work out. My interest in music information retrieval is ever growing, and I am sure I will fulfill it in one way or another.
